Positioned on the western coastline of the Great Atlantic, lies the
Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Land o f Many Waters. Just south o f the
Caribbean, this South American province is home to pristine rainforests,
extensive bio diversities and majestic rivers. Among Guyana's multitude of
natural resources, seafood remains integral t o the nation labelled as the food basket of the Caribbean.
Headlining this operation is Pritipaul Singh Investments Inc., established in 1999. Located on the banks of the Demerara River, the company initially operated two major facilities — PSI McDoom and PSI Providence — which were later consolidated into a single location at Providence. In its pursuit of expansion, the company constructed a new processing plant, Orbilo Nickerie Processing, in Nickerie, Suriname, in September 2018, adding to the PSI Group’s regional presence just east of Guyana. Further extending its reach, PSI also established a cold storage and distribution facility in Miami, Florida, operating as Bee Gee Atlantic Seafoods Inc.

BRC - British Retail Consortium
Our shrimp plant i s audited once a year by NSF International formerly known as
National Sanitation Foundation. NSF Certification, LL is accredited to certify to the
BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. The BRC Food Safety standard, acknowledged
a s the world's first Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), provides a framework t o
manage product safety, integrity, legality, quality and the operational controls in the
food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.

VPHU - Veterinary Public Health Unit
Our processing operations are certified b y the Republic o f Guyana's Ministry o f
Health through its Veterinary Public Health Unit (VPHU), which approves PSI's
adherence to all sanitary and hygienic requirements for operation in seafood
processing. The VPHU i s the country's competent authority t o ensure the seafood
products produced are fit for human consumption.

2017 International Award for Quality -
Global Trade Leaders Club, Paris; France
Global Trade Leaders' Club i s a n association of leading businesses, which gathers
more than 7500 members from 95 different countries, all working in the sectors o f
production and services. The main motto o f this association i s t o promote trade
exchanges and human relationships amongst business entities from all over the
Global Trade Leaders' Club with input from industry analysts, corporate executives
and consultants selected the organizations for International Trophy for Quality.

2014 - Executive President's Award for Export Achievement in 2013
Guyana Manufacturing & Services Association (GMSA) is a business support
institution functioning as a liaison between the businesses involved in manufacturing
and social business services and the Government of Guyana. PSI was granted this
award after impressing GMA with its approach regarding the processing o f its
seafood and penetrating markets around the world to hit export targets


Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification is a food safety management system that ensures the production, handling, and distribution of food products are carried out in a safe and hygienic manner. It is a preventive approach to food safety that identifies and controls potential hazards at specific points throughout the food production process. HACCP certification is widely recognized internationally and is essential for businesses involved in the food industry, such as manufacturers, processors, distributors, and retailers.
Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
A non-profit organisation which aims to set standards for sustainable fishing. Fisheries that wish to demonstrate they are well-managed and sustainable compared to the MSC's standards are assessed by a team of Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs).
